AI: Are we blessed or cursed?

As my new book The Bad Kids gets closer to publication I have to plan its promotion. Part of marketing a book is creating videos. I do not possess the skill to do this nor do I have the money to hire another artist; this is where AI comes in. This is a difficult subject for me as I am certain it is difficult for other people who write and have books to promote---
Using AI affects the livelihood of someone else in the arts.
However, I cannot afford to pay someone else to do this so AI it is.
The truth is, my calling is becoming more and more of an anachronism: Most people rather watch a video these days.
Consequently, I have to make movies to draw potential readers into my stories.
AI has advanced a lot. With a text prompt I can create photo realistic pictures to illustrate The Bad Kids. It's incredible, but this technology comes with a price. Not just the $20 a month for Chatbot GBT Plus, how it affects videographers, photographers---
And me.
AI is used extensively for writing projects. It's not as a good as a "real" writer, but the price is right. What I would charge you a couple hundred dollars for you can do yourself with Chatbot GBT or another platform.
Recently, AI was used to create a Country music song that went to the top of the charts.
Actors and actresses are being created with artificial intelligence, as well.
It can be an incredible tool. I could orchestrate the music I record in my kitchen, something that would cost thousands of dollars if I paid someone to write out charts, hired a studio, and brought violinists and cellists in.
AI: Are we blessed or cursed?
I'm not sure...
